On November 17th 2025, at 14h00, in Room 105, the seminar "From Chaos to Connection: Organizational Communication in an Era of Crisis and Digital Transformation" will take place. The guest speaker is António Cardoso, Professor at Universidade Fernando Pessoa.
António Cardoso is an Associate Professor at the University Fernando Pessoa (Porto, Portugal), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FCHS), Department of Communication and Business Sciences. He holds a Post-Doctorate in Management and Digital Transformation (University of Vigo, Spain), a Ph.D. in Engineering - Management and Design, and a Master’s in Design and Marketing (University of Minho), as well as a Bachelor’s in Marketing (University Fernando Pessoa).
Since 1993, he has been teaching at the University Fernando Pessoa, where he has coordinated several undergraduate, master’s, and MBA programs, and has served on multiple academic and scientific committees. He currently coordinates the Master’s in Business Sciences and the MBA in Marketing.
His teaching and research activities focus on Management, Marketing, Branding, Tourism, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability. He has authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications, including 87 papers in international journals, 25 book chapters, 1 book, and around 40 conference presentations.
Prof. António Cardoso, has also participated in numerous academic juries for career advancement, served on organizing committees of international conferences, and acts as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
His current research interests include sustainability, marketing, business communication, consumer behaviour, branding, entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation.
