Aims and Objectives
Climate change is a global challenge that severely affects cultural heritage; however, cultural heritage can also provide solutions and help mitigate the impacts of climate change on society. The European Partnership for Resilient Cultural Heritage will strengthen research into cultural heritage by developing and promoting, through dissemination and capacity-building activities, innovative solutions, assessment systems, adaptation and mitigation strategies, as well as risk management models, with a view to passing on cultural heritage to future generations. The aim is to make Europe more resilient and climate-neutral. This European Partnership is distinguished by its scientific excellence, unprecedented critical mass, strong links between research, policy and society, and a long-term vision that focuses on transnational joint calls, Living Labs, advanced capacity-building and impact-oriented knowledge production.
