A book and a paper on CPA Ireland


No próximo dia 15 de março, realizar-se-á, pelas 17h00, no Grande Auditório do ISCAP, um seminário subordinado ao tema "Leveraging research projects - a book and a paper on CPA Ireland", que conta com o orador convidado Martin Quinn (Dublin City University Business School).

Este seminário é dirigido aos estudantes da U.C. Contabilidade e Análise Financeira do programa Erasmus, Licenciatura em Contabilidade e Administração e Mestrado em Contabilidade e Finanças, docentes e investigadores da área da contabilidade.

Martin Quinn is Associate Professor and Head of Accounting at DCU Business School. He is a qualified management accountant and has held several finance and management positions in Irish and international organisations. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Dundee (Scotland, UK) and has published widely on management accounting, accounting change and accounting history in journals such as Management Accounting Research, Accounting Auditing and Accountability Journal, Qualitative Research in Accounting and Management, Accounting History Review and Accounting History. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of  Qualitative Research in Accounting and Management. His research interests also include accounting information systems, accounting and sustainability and cloud computing.
Martin has also written and contributed several textbooks, including Management Accounting (McGraw Hill) and was Editor of the Routledge Companion to Accounting Information Systems.
In addition to his teaching at  DCU Business School, Martin also has held visiting positions at the University of Oviedo (Spain) and currently holds a teaching position at HHL (Germany). He also teaches for professional accounting bodies in Ireland.
