All accepted International Students are required to have health insurance coverage.
If you are an European Union (EU) Citizen, you can benefit from the National Health services (public hospitals) using the European Health Insurance Card. You will be charged the same fee as a Portuguese citizen.
If you are a Non-European Union (Non EU) Citizen, a valid International Insurance is mandatory.
