Bringing together Portuguese and international researchers, lecturers, trainers and interpreters, we aim to present and share different views on the relations between the interpreter and new technologies, the advantages/drawbacks of remote interpreting and question the role of interpreter training, as the task of interpreting demands ever more proficiency in IT and an increasing understanding of new communication modes and media. |
